The Ranger RC Remote-Controlled 2-Axis Tripod is a precision motorised pan/tilt platform designed for mounting thermal imagers, optics or SLR cameras onto vehicles.
Equipped with three high-strength magnetic feet with rubber bases, the system provides stable attachment to metal vehicle surfaces.
Dual safety lanyards and carabiners are included to secure both the tripod and mounted device during operation.
The stepper-motor driven head offers high positional accuracy and supports 360° pan with ±50° tilt.
Eight adjustable pan and tilt speeds ranging from 0.05rpm to 4rpm allow tailored scanning performance for surveillance or detection tasks.
The unit supports two preset factory positions and two user-defined memory points per channel, enabling rapid recall of scanning angles.
Auto-Scan mode enables continuous panning between two programmed points at a set speed.
Control is via a 2.4GHz remote with >30m operating range.
The system is powered by a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery and supports USB-C charging input.
