The Boyds Featherweight Thumbhole gunstock is designed for shooters who want premium ergonomics without unnecessary weight. This stock combines a lightweight profile with the control and comfort of a true thumbhole design.
A large rollover cheekpiece and straight comb provide consistent cheek weld and excellent alignment with optics, while helping to minimise cheek slap under recoil.
The hand-conforming thumbhole grip improves trigger control and distributes recoil evenly through the palm and shoulder, reducing muzzle rise and felt recoil.
Weight-reducing internal design in both the forend and butt keeps the stock exceptionally light, making it ideal for hunting rifles carried over long distances.
The forend is proportioned nicely, including side vents which permit the free floating barrel to cool efficiently for those long days at the range.
